Regis Easler

Regis J. Easler, II, age 80, of Girard, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015 at Pleasant Ridge Manor West.

He was born in Pittsburgh on September 8, 1934, the son of the late Regis J., and Clara Bear Easler.

Regis attended Peabody High School and entered the military service in the U.S. Army. He was a musician and had played in many bands. His band was Fabulous Silver Spurs.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Glenn Easler.

Regis is survived by his wife of 33 years, Bonnie Raye (Kidder) Easler; sons, Regis J. Easler III and his wife Michelle of Florida, Jason Easler of Linesville and daughter, Karen Easler of Jamestown; step children: Donnie Zeriminsky of Linesville, James Zeriminsky of Conneaut Lake, PA, Richard Harbaugh and his wife Nancy of Erie, Craig Harbaugh and his wife Rhonda of Springfield, Steven Harbaugh and his fiancé Kim Foster of NY, Kathy Gosik and her husband Paul of Edinboro, David Harbaugh and his wife Amy of Greenville, Robert Northcott of Pittsburgh, and Eric Northcott of Atlantic, PA ; a sister, Joan Duffy of Jamestown; he is further survived by 31 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main Street East, in Girard, on Saturday, January 10, from 2-4 and 6 until the time of the service at 8pm. Memorials may be made to the family in care of the funeral home. Burial will at Beaver Center Cemetery at a later date. Condolences may be sent to www.burtonfuneralhomes.com.
