Rebecca Grace

Rebecca B. Grace, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at her residence after a short illness. She was born on July 3, 1949, in Erie, to the late Perry and Beulah Bell (Flick) Grace.

Our beloved matriarch, a cherished soul who graced our lives with her warmth and kindness. With grace and dignity, she bid farewell, her last words filled with love and reassurance. "I'm good," she said, standing tall. In a tender embrace and a heartfelt kiss, she expressed her profound affection, softly whispering 'I Love You' as her last farewell. Though she may be gone, her spirit lives on in our hearts forever, a testament to her unwavering resolve. 

Rebecca’s days were filled with the beauty of tending to her garden, cherishing moments with her family, and ensuring the well-being of every stray cat in the neighborhood. Her evenings were marked by the lively rhythm of dance, shared intimately with her beloved husband. Now, as she embarks on her eternal journey, Rebecca leaves behind a legacy of compassion and joy. She dances with grace in the heavens, reunited with her husband, their spirits intertwined forevermore. 

In addition to her parents, she is reunited with her husband of 57 years, Francis Robert Grace, who passed away three short weeks ago; her daughter, Beulah Grace Wegelin and brothers, Robert Burnett, and Larry Burnett. 

She leaves behind to cherish her in memory, her loving sons, Frank Robert Grace and Robert Francis Grace (Melissa); her grandchildren, Brad Wegelin (Danielle), Thomas Wegelin, Nick Kobusinski, Becca Grace, Robert Grace (Christine), Samantha Gilson (Eric) and Terry Grace (Megan); greatgrandchildren, Isabella, Tommy, Riley, Bryce, Quinn, Iris, Reyna, Asher, Nellie, Weston, Christopher and Danielle; all of who loved her dearly. She is further survived by her siblings, Sonja (Burnett) Mysnyk, James Burnett, Buddy Burnett, Sandra (Burnett) Mysnyk and Edward Burnett and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

Friends are invited to call on the family Monday, April 22, 2024, at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East, Girard, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
