Rachel R. Stafford

Rachel R. Stafford, aged 45, of Erie, Pennsylvania, passed away on January 16, 2025. Born on September 1, 1979, in Erie, Rachel was a daughter of Kenneth Stafford and Connie Miller. 

A devoted homemaker, she poured her heart and soul into her family, cherishing her role as a mother to her four children: Jacob Miller, Alexis Miller, Shania Abuzebiba and Shane Alwahami and grandmother to Layla Challabi, Rosalina Challabi. Known for her infectious sense of humor, she had a unique ability to bring laughter to any room she entered. She had a deep love for animals, particularly dolphins and horses, which reflected her kind and gentle spirit. Rachel’s favorite color was blue. She also enjoyed shopping for jewelry, finding joy in the little things in life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Gerald Stafford.

In addition to her children and grandchildren, she is survived by her husband Abdul Alwahami; nine siblings: Renee, Kenny, Jamie, Juan, Angelic, Chuck, Tiffany and Melinda as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends.

A public viewing will be held on Tuesday January 21, 2025, at 10 AM until 12PM at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, Wintergreen, 2532 Norcross Rd. The commital service will follow at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
