Rachel McCart Pfeifle, age 45, of Millcreek passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2015 following a long but valiant battle
with cancer.
She was born on September 10, 1969, in Blue Island, IL, a daughter of Margaret (Peg) McCart and the late Lawrence
Wayne McCart.
She was a graduate of Moberly High School, Class of 1987.
Rachel was greatly committed to serving her Lord and bringing Him glory. She was active with Koinonia of Erie County
since 1999. Through her battle with inflammatory breast cancer, she developed strong friendships with women afflicted
with the same illness. She remained a strong witness to her Lord through her affliction and her sharing. She Loved her
family!
Rachel worked for Knox Law firm as a legal secretary; was church secretary at Emmanuel Presbyterian Church; was a
Distributor for Celebrating Home and was a work at home mom working with Cyber Secretaries.
In addition to her mother Peg, Rachel is survived by her husband of 16 years, James (Jim) Pfeifle, two children,
Maggie and Jacob Pfeifle and two step-children, Danielle Pfeifle and James Pfeifle, Jr. and his wife Jaime.
Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street on Thursday from 2 to 5
p.m. and 7 to 9p.m. and Friday from 9a.m. until the time of services at 10:30a.m. with the Reverend Jim Hodge
officiating.
Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
