Quaneshia D. Seawright, age 10, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018 at UPMC Hamot Hospital.
She was born in Erie on April 8, 2008, a daughter of Willie Carter-Dixon and Shaquanna Johnson.
Quaneshia was a straight A student who loved school and wanted to be a doctor. She loved to go to church, music, and to dance and sing. Quaneshia was a family oriented girl who cared for others and loved her baby brother, Zyquan.
She is preceded in death by her great grandfather, James Johnson, her grandmother, Zelma Wall, and grandfather, Alfred Dixon, her great uncles, Lonnie and James Wall and Daniel Johnson, and her cousins, Shonda Johnson and Tonya Williams.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Zyquan J. Carter, of Erie, PA and Gregory Austin, III, of Detroit, MI; her grandmother, Deborah Dixon, her grandfather, Paul Johnson; great grandmothers, Jerdean Johnson and Anna Wall and great grandfather, James Arrington; 18 uncles, 5 aunts, her Godmother, Talisha Nagle, 2 God brothers, 3 God sisters and her best friend Tamaria Knight
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 602 W. 10th St., Erie on Friday, May 25th from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. Burial will follow at Lakeside Cemetery.
