Priscilla A. Ferebee

Priscilla A. Ferebee, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday January 14, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital. She was born in Shubuta, MS on June 29, 1948, a daughter of the late David Soloman Sr. and Ruby T. Coleman.

Priscilla attended Strong Vincent High School and then graduated from The Clarissa School of Fashion Design in Pittsburgh, PA. She continued her career in Philadelphia, PA, where she worked as a tailor with exceptional talent and meticulous attention to detail. Priscilla eventually returned to Erie to assist in the care of her father. Upon arriving in Erie, she picked up where she left off with her tailoring career, working at The Men’s Warehouse, Issac Baker Menswear, and eventually starting her own tailoring business. Priscilla was known as a master tailor in Erie, customizing suits and clothing to Erie’s finest clients.

Priscilla is survived by her husband Garland A. Ferebee; son Marvin D. (Yvette) Williams, Charlotte, NC; daughter Kimberly R. (Eric) Jones, Pittsburgh, PA; step daughter Teeiree B. Oates, Maryland; grandchildren Charise Graham, Priscilla Jones, Erica Jones, Damauri Williams, Reaujah Black, and Aujanae Campbell; and eight great grandchildren.

Priscilla was preceded in death by her brother, Gerald Coleman, Columbia, SC and is also survived by her siblings: Daisy (Richard) Conner, Erie, PA; Patricia Coleman, Charlotte, NC; David Coleman Jr., Fayetteville, NC; Charles (Susan) Coleman, Erie, PA; Mary Coleman, Columbia, SC; Gary Coleman, Erie, PA; Kimberly Coleman, Columbia, SC; Alonzo (Wilma) Coleman, Erie, PA; Lydia Coleman, Erie, PA; Craig (Glenda) Coleman, Bartlett, TN; and Deidre Coleman, Columbia, SC as well as many nieces and nephews.
