Pille “Pia” Nava Glover, age 79, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023 at St. Mary’s Asbury Ridge. Pia was born on April 11, 1944 in Tallinn, Estonia, a daughter of the late Felix and Ilma Salve Nava. She and her parents moved to Erie, where she met a group of amazing lifelong friends that remained by her side until her final day on this Earth.
Pia graduated from Strong Vincent High School in 1962, but remained a part of the alumni committee over the years. She was involved with Jaycee’s Club, bridge club, as well as, other clubs and committees. Pia was employed by Hamot Hospital as an x-ray technician for 25 years, ending her career with the LEO group. She was a longtime member of Luther Memorial Church, where she and Roy were married in 1969, and all 3 of her grandchildren were later christened.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Glover, Jr. in 2014. Roy, no doubt, was awaiting Pia with open arms.
She is survived by her two daughters, Hilary Forman and her husband Eric of New York and Trina Rinderle and her husband Brian of Erie; three grandchildren, Megan, Alexandra and Cameron, and stories that will live on for decades.
Friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Life Service that will be held at the beach this summer. Service information to be announced at a later date.
