Pierrette Honard

Pierrette Nadeau Honard, age 80, formerly of Fairview, went to be with her husband, on Friday, November 28, 2014 at Pleasant Ridge Manor West.

She was born April 30, 1934 in St. Leonard, New Brunswick, Canada. A daughter of the late Dr. Emile Nadeau and Marie Louise Bouchard Nadeau.

She graduated from Le College Notre Dame D’Acadie, Moncton, N.B. and worked as a secretary at La Banque Provinciale Du Canada in Edmunston N.B. She belonged to the Westwood Racquet Club, she enjoyed tennis, biking and walking.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jerome (Jerry) Honard in 2012, two sisters: Colette Nadeau Lupo, and Marcelle Wilson; three brothers Paul Nadeau, Guy Nadeau, and Rosaire Nadeau.

Survivors include two sons Daniel (Dan) Honard and his wife Evelyn; Andrew (Andy) Honard and his wife Janet all of Erie, PA; two sisters Jacqueline Morneault and her husband Gaston of Florida, and Francoise Hilger and her husband Richard of California; three brothers: Carmen Nadeau and his wife Carmelle of Edmunston N.B.; Laurier Nadeau of Quebec, and Gaeton Nadeau and his wife Anne of Grand Falls. NB; five grandchildren Brooke Wroczynski, Christopher (Erin), and Justin Honard, Michele (James) Pacansky, and Kristen (Travis) Lizotte; 5 great grandchildren: Shaylyn, Logan, Lydia, Colten, and Ayden; many nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm at the Burton Westalke Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th St.. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, 7100 West Ridge Road Fairview, PA. Burial will be held at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
