Paul R. Weber, age 45, of Erie, passed away at his home on February 15, 2016 from the disease of addiction and effects related to substance abuse. Paul was quite the athlete, excelling in football, basketball, baseball and soccer in his earlier years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing with his sons, uncles and close friends. He was also a diehard Cleveland Browns fan. If you knew Paul really well, like his cousin Scott and close friends Jay, Chuck and Chris, Troy, Jeremy and Josh, you would know he had a big heart and would do anything for others. When Paul was employed, his employers and co-workers all thought he was a nice guy and a hard worker.
Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Robbie R. Weber, who passed away in 1981 at age 5; a close aunt, Suzanne C. Bowers (Holland); his biological father, Richard D. Weber; grandparents, Richard B. Weber and Eleanor H. Weber (Blasic); grandfather Paul J. Holland and grandfather Robert J. Wieczorek.
Paul is survived by his parents, David R. and Paula A. (Holland, Weber) Wieczorek of Erie; three sons, Cody Paul Weber, Riley Paul Weber (fiancé, Daniella and daughter Ava Lynn) and Noah Paul Weber, all of Erie. A brother, Richard; a sister, Amy and several nieces and nephews. He is additionally survived by a half-brother, Jonathon Weber; a step-son, Chad Pamula and grandmothers, Jacqueline N. Holland (Caldwell) and Esther E. Wieczorek (Madura).
A graveside service and inurnment will be held Sunday May 15, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery, 2532 Norcross Road in Erie.
