Paul Hicks

Paul “Uncle Pauly” Hicks, age 57, of Erie, passed away Saturday, September 28, 2024 at UPMC Hamot Hospital. He was born in Erie, October 18, 1966, to the late Eleanor Raney. Paul served his country in the United States Army before becoming a truck driver for many years.

He loved the Pittsburgh Steelers and playing golf online with his friends. Paul was well known for cracking jokes and making everyone laugh and he enjoyed his Scooby Snacks. 

In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his sister Patricia Diabo. 

Paul is survived by his twin brother Pete Hicks, Wendy Novel (John), Robin Zimmer (Bob), Russell Diabo (Joanna), his stepsister Debra O'Meara, his cousins Christopher Miller, Robert Miller, and James Galeski. He is further survived by his son Cody Burtt, his nieces Heather Hicks, and Kim Hicks (Josh), and several other nieces, nephews and close family and friends.

Friends are invited to call on the family Wednesday, October 2, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services Inc. Downtown, 602 W. 10th Street, Erie.
