Paul joined the Epilepsy Foundation in Hawaii and served on the Board of Directors. He also participated in the Freedom Fun Run Walk every July 4th to support Freedom from Epilepsy and to raise money on education and support programs for those impacted by epilepsy in Hawaii.
Paul loved spending time with his family and coming home to Erie. He was an avid fly fisher, surfer, and world traveler. He was an advocate for persons with disabilities and an inspiration to many people. His positive spirit and the life he lived, touched the lives of many. He was determined and fearless and his goal was to learn something new every day. Paul's life tips were to "expect something wonderful to happen every day" and to "remember the best has yet to come!"
