Paul H. Burton

Paul H. Burton age 86, of Erie, passed away on Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at the Erie VA Medical Center.

He was born in Eldred, PA on July 31, 1937, a son of the late Howard and Gertrude Morris Burton.

Paul served in the United States Marines, where he had a successful boxing career.

He worked at Eriez Magnetics for over 30 years.

Paul was an avid hunter and sportsman who loved the outdoors and camping.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Theresa Payne.

He is survived by his son, Bryan Burton; two grandchildren, Ryan and Ben Burton; brothers, Leroy (Kathy) Burton, Russell Burton, and Wade (Deanna) Burton; and a sister, Eunice.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge 3801 W. 26^th Street on Monday, from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
