Paul Brown

Paul T. Brown Sr. age 82, of York, SC and formerly of Erie, died at home on Sunday, May 17, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born in Warren, Pa. on September 8, 1932 a son of the late Raymond and Laura Mills Brown. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict serving with the US Army. After his service he lived in Erie for many years and worked as a sanitation engineer with Waste Management. After retiring to York, SC, he worked as a school bus driver for York School District # 1. He loved fishing and working in the yard and especially loved mowing but only with John Deere equipment. He was also a fan of professional wrestling.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Arlene Wiler and his brother, Raymond Brown along with his first wife Doris and his third wife Betty and a great grandson, Nathan Kruse. He is survived by his wife Beverly Schuller Brown and his second wife Lucille. He also leaves seven children; Linda Beatty of Franklin, PA, Tom Brown (Sue) of Jamestown, NY, Tina Myers also of Jamestown, Phillip Brown (Deanna) of York, SC, Belinda Brown (Jorge) also of York, SC, Paul Brown Jr. (Sue) of Erie, PA and Elizabeth Vazquez of Union City, PA. He also leaves many grandchildren, great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews along with a sister, Sally Barker of Titusville, PA and a brother, David Brown (Sally) of Albion, PA. Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home and Crematory Inc., 602 West Tenth Street, Erie, PA on Saturday from 10:00 am till the time of service there at noon. Burial at Garland Cemetery in Garland, Pa. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, 1120 G. Street NW, Suite 100 Washington, DC, 20005.
