Paul Brian Berger

Paul Brian Berger, age 47, of Erie, passed away at his residence on Friday, February 28, 2025. He was born on May 13, 1977, a son to Louise Brown Berger and the late James W. Berger.

Paul was a 1995 graduate of McDowell High School and worked as a Process Technician for Essentra. He was previously employed by Patti’s Pizza, Panos, South Erie Turners, and Zukor Club. He previously attended St. Paul’s Lutheran Church. Paul had a great love for his pets and enjoyed playing video games.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by an uncle, Craig Brown, and grandparents.

Along with his mother, Paul is survived by his companion of 20 years, Michele Gunter, of Erie; daughters, Breanna, Christina, and Gina Berger, all of Millcreek; Step sons, Joshua and Brandon Ester, of Erie and step grandchildren, Matthew, Addison and Julian Ester; brother, Joseph Berger (Arica), of Centerville, PA; Half brothers, Todd Berger (Rhonda), of Olean, NY, and Timothy Berger (Monnie), of Herrodsburg, KY; Half sister, Mindy Steer (Bob), of Salem, OH, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation & Funeral Services, West Ridge, on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, from 3 PM until 5 PM. Burial will be private in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
