Patricia Whiteford

Patricia Ann Whiteford, age 87, of Millcreek Township, passed away Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Las Vegas, NV. 

She was born February 11, 1934 in Clearfield, PA., the daughter of the late, James and Josephine Trumble. 

Patricia was a graduate of New Castle High School, New Castle Business School and attended Penn State University. She worked at Liberty Mutual Insurance, J. C. Penny and Kaufmann’s department store. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, W. Daniel Whiteford and a brother, James Trumble of Florida.

She is survived by three children; Cynthia Freedman (Dr. Sheldon) of Las Vegas, William Whiteford (Karen) of Fairview and James Whiteford (Vicky) of Millcreek. Eight grandchildren; Danielle Boyars, Emily Linton, Colin Freedman, Daniel Whiteford, Matthew Whiteford, Amy Larson, Kelsey Taylor and Bryan Whiteford as well as eight great-grandchildren. 

She married W. Daniel Whiteford on May 29, 1954 and they enjoyed traveling, camping, gardening and spending time with family and friends.  They had a residence in Raintree RV Resort in Fort Myers, Florida where they spent winters for over 30 years. 

She was a member of Perkins Presbyterian Church, Presque Isle Garden Club, North Coast Striders, Prudential Retirees, Hamot Aid Society and Life Works.

Funeral Services will be private and are under the care of Burton Quinn Scott Funeral Home, Erie, PA.  Memorials may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
