Patricia “Patty” Dehner

Patricia “Patty” L. Dehner, age 79, of Millcreek passed away on Thursday July 12, 2018 at St Mary’s at Asbury Ridge.

She was born in Erie, on September 25, 1938, a daughter of the late Leo and Louise (Switzer) Pichler.

She was a graduate of Academy High School and worked for more than 35 years within various retail stores including Horne’s and Lazarus before retiring in 2003.

Patty loved her family more than anything in life and was a wonderful care provider to her mom for many, many years. She loved gardening, and was a very caring and generous person of her time and talents. In the last few years since her illness, she never once complained and was always grateful for all that was being done for her. Heaven has truly gained an angel.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Janice Brown.

She is survived by, her daughter Andrea (Michael) Cummings, her fiancé Robert Cooper, granddaughter Kristin (Lennon) Askew and two great grandchildren who are twins Kaiden and Landon Askew all of Erie. She is also survived by her sister Karen (Raymond) Metzler of Florida and many nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Burton West Lake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Ave) on Monday July 16^th from 5 p.m. until the time of service at 7 p.m. and burial will be private at Laurel Hill Cemetery.
