Patricia Knight

Patricia “Patty” Ann Church Knight, age 79, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Bickford of Presque Isle Bay.

She was born in Erie on September 17, 1942, a daughter of the late Roy & Kathleen Gehrlein Church. She was employed by American Tinning for over 20 years as a secretary and previously worked for several banks.

Patty was a member of the Erie Siebenbuerger Club and the Elks.

In addition to her parents, Patty was preceded in death by her sister Kathleen Church Mentley and a step-son- Albert L. Knight, Jr.

She is survived by her husband Albert L. Knight, Sr, and her sons, Tom Smith (Darcy) and David Smith all of Erie; her step-children, Darlene Knight of Phoenix, AZ, Alan Knight (Bonnie) of Syracuse, NY and Thomas Knight (Cindy) of Colorado Springs, CO.; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is further survived by her sister Jennifer Church Wise (Jeff) of Baltimore, MD.

Friends may call at Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, 3801 W. 26th Street Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Saturday at 10:00 a.m. Burial to follow in in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
