Patricia Hetrick

Patricia R. Hetrick, age 75 of Fairview, died Saturday, November 1, 2014 at UPMC Hamot.

Born in Connellsville, PA on July 24th, 1939 the daughter of the late Willis F. and Evelyn

Turney Cross.

She was a graduate of Connellsville High School. She worked in the prep kitchen at Hoss’s Resturant when it opened in Erie, she also sold crystal for Princess House for many years. She was a store manager for Lawson’s for several years. She was a long time member and very involved with the Fairview United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and was active in the Mary and Martha Circle and sang in the choir with her son for many years. Her family meant the world to her and she will be missed by many.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband M. Dennis Hetrick in 2000.

She is survived by two sons: Brian D. Hetrick and Bruce E. Hetrick and his wife Stephanie, all of Fairview; a daughter Dawnne D. Foland of Lake City; a sister Phyllis Cross of Connelleville; three grandchildren: Kayleigh and Christian Foland and Madalynn Hetrick; and two nieces.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home 525 E. Main Street, Girard on Wednesday From 2-4 p.m.and 6-8 p.m., and are invited to attend services on Thursday at 11 a.m, at the Fairview United Methodist Church 4601 Avonia Road with Reverend John Gerber officiating.
