Patricia Frantz

Patricia A. (Ackerman) Frantz,  age 66, of Millcreek, passed away Monday, August 14, 2017 at UPMC Hamot after a very brief battle with lung cancer.  She was born in Erie on February 11, 1951, a daughter of Joseph Ackerman and the late Marian Hopkins Shaffer.

Patricia was a very loving mother to her children, grandchildren and furbabies.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Dennis Frantz, stepfather, Harry Shaffer, brother, Joey Ackerman, sister, Shellie Kittell, and stepmother, Marylou Ackerman.

In addition to her father, survived two daughters, Brenda (Jack) Wilson of Albion and Rhonda (Dave) Bowersox of Erie; a stepson, Robert (Roxanne) Frantz of Meadville and five grandchildren, Zachery, Alex and Sara Wilson, Joshua Bowersox and Mike Frantz.  She is further survived by her best friend, Celine Ste. Marie whom she loved dearly, sister Alison (Jack) Loeffler, stepbrother, Dave Shaffer and stepsister Robin (Mike) Beeman.  Many nieces, nephews, family and friends also survive.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26^th Street (at Powell Avenue) on Friday, August 18^th, from 6 to 8 p.m. and are invited to attend a service there on Saturday at 11 a.m.  Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
