Patricia Drushel

Patricia A. Drushel, age 83, of Girard, passed away after a brief illness Monday April 23, 2018 at St. Vincent Health Center.

She was born in Erie on February 15, 1935, a daughter of the late Vern “Paddy” and Florence Rebman McQuillen.

Patricia graduated from Villa Maria Academy in 1952 and Mercyhurst College in 1956.

She had worked at Rich Products for over 30 years.  Patricia was a life member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.  Patricia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She liked gardening, attending her prayer group, going to her grandkids sporting events, music and playing cards with her bridge group

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband George R. Drushel in 2016; twin son and daughter, George R. and Patricia E. Drushel in infancy.

She is survived by her two daughters, Maureen A. Drushel and her fiancé Rodney Getz and Kathleen M. Drushel-Debelak, both of Girard; three sons, George P. Drushel and his wife Kim of Girard, John F. Drushel and his wife, Tammy of San Tan Valley, AZ and Matthew T. Drushel of Paris, France; a brother, Raymond McQuillen and his wife Jane of Fairview; and five grandchildren, Alyssa, Kelly and Delaney Drushel, Erin Debelak and John G. Drushel.  She is further survived by several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East in Girard on Wednesday from 3-7 pm and are invited to prayers there on Thursday at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Johns the Evangelist, 101 Olin Ave. Girard, at 10 am. with Rev. William Miller, Celebrant.

Burial in St. John’s Cemetery.
