Patricia "Pat" L. Covey

Patricia “Pat” L. Covey, age 73, formerly of Rochester, NY, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2025, at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Chapel Hill, NC on May 9, 1951, a daughter of the late Arthur D. and Lucille Fisher Foster. 

Pat graduated from John Marshall High School in Rochester, NY. She worked with her husband as a Microscope Tech. She loved to draw and paint ceramics. She loved her family and especially enjoyed watching her children and grandchildren play sports.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Arlene Smith and Judith Raskind; and her brother, Arthur B. Foster.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harold Covey; her son, Glen and his wife Cindy; her daughter Tara Covey and her partner, Nora; two grandchildren, Joshua Covey and his wife Kiana and Kailee Covey; great grandchild, Keenan Covey; and her sisters, JoAnn Lewis, Deborah Humby, Cheryl Nece and Elizabeth Betty Wilson.

Services will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Burton Funeral Home 525 Main St East, in Girard.
