Patricia Budd

     Patricia Audrey Brady Budd, 74, of Erie, died Sunday, August 19, 2012 at UPMC Passavant in Pittsburgh, following an extended illness.  She was born July 18, 1938 in Erie, daughter of the late James and Molly Reese Brady.  She attended McDowell High School and was a housekeeping supervisor and more recently a receptionist at St. Vincent Health Center retiring in 2000 after 18 years.  Her and her husband were snowbirds spending their winters in Mission, TX.  She enjoyed playing Bingo, traveling, and attending auctions; and had a love of frogs, her church and her pet dogs Libby and Cloey.
     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Pauline Giddings Brady Allen and two sisters, Diana M. Candia and Jean Rulo.
     Survivors include her husband of 55 years, Herbert J. Budd; a daughter, Kathleen M. Dorich and husband Joe of Erie; three sons, James Joseph Budd of Erie, William "Bob" Budd and wife Harrietta of Troy, OH and Gerald "Jerry" Budd of Orlando, FL; five sisters, Janice Dilimone and husband James, Linda J. McKinstry and husband Thomas, Gloria J. Brady and Kimberly A. Collarile and husband Richard, all of Erie, and Freida M. Mancuso and husband Anthony of Garland, TX; two brothers, Larry D. Allen and wife Shelley of Garland, TX and Richard L. Brady of Erie; an aunt, Laura Konen of Erie; seven grandchildren, Joey and Ambre Dorich, Jimmy Joe Budd, Jr. and Robert, Jenni, Ryan and Billy Budd; a great-grandchild, Khloe Horn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
     Friends may attend a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at East Erie Assembly of God, 2653 Saltsman Road, Friday at 5 p.m. with the Rev. Clifford B. Hamilton officiating.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle St.
