Patrice M. DiTullio, age 63, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May16th. at home after a valiant battle with cancer.
She was born on September 20th,1957 in Erie, PA, the daughter of the late Richard Nicholas DiTullio and Rose Marie (Agnello) DiTullio.
Patrice attended St. Paul's elementary school, graduated from St. Benedict Academy in 1975, and attended Elizabethtown College. She was an avid reader, loved the beach, and enjoyed arts and crafts. Family get-togethers, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas, were her favorite times to be around loved ones. Patrice was a very determined and strong-willed woman, and always approached life with a positive outlook and unwavering perseverance.
Patrice was known for her caring nature and generosity; she enjoyed the act of giving... and receiving, igniting her infectious smile on every holiday and birthday. Her passion and excitement for food was a compliment to any cook. Patrice’s favorite meal was pasta, followed by a cup (or two) of coffee and endless sweets. She loved to accessorize and always portrayed her unique style. Patrice's family and friends admired her persuasive approach and tenacity. She will forever be remembered for her bright, bold, and valiant character.
Patrice is survived by her son, Matt DiTullio, of Erie; 4 brothers, Richard Ditullio (Brenda); Stephan DiTullio; John DiTullio (Debbie) of Rochester, NY; Chris DiTullio (Jennifer); and 1 sister Jacqueline Aronics (Joseph) and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
Friends and relatives are invited to meet with family on Saturday, May, 22nd at St. Paul's Church beginning at 10:30 AM until the funeral mass at 11:30 AM. A private burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at Heartland Hospice for the loving services and care they provided during the past seven months.
Arrangements are by the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th and Liberty St.
