Pamela J. Ormsbee

Pamela J. Ormsbee, age 63, passed away on Monday February 25, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital.

 She was born in Erie, on February 11^th, 1956, the daughter of Marjorie Douglas Ormsbee and the late Leslie Eugene Ormsbee.

 Pamela was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Class of 1974 and of Saint Vincent School of Nursing, Class of 1978.  She was a Registered Nurse and was employed for many years at Saint Vincent Hospital and volunteered at Pleasant Ridge Manor. Pam was passionate about nursing and the patients she cared for.   Pam enjoyed watching crime shows and the cooking channel. She also loved to travel, especially cruising. Pam had a great love for all animals. She cared deeply for her cats and fed the birds both at her home and Pleasant Ridge Manor.

 Besides her father, she was preceded in death by her best friend, Ruth Seaberg.

 She is survived by her mother, Marjorie Ormsbee; her two sisters, Patricia Klein and husband Allan of Clarksville, TN and Barbara Hintz and husband Mick of Erie and her brother, Michael Ormsbee and wife Cheryl also of Erie.  She is further survived by several nieces, nephews and good friends.

 Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26^th Street at Powell Avenue on Saturday from 2:00 until the time of the memorial service at 4:00 pm with Rev. James Bernhardt and Rev. Keith Sundberg officiating.

 Burial will be private at Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
