Pamela Grupp

Pamela V. Grupp age 76 of Fairview, passed away at her residence Tuesday, February 1, 2022 with her husband at her side. 

She was born in West Point, NY on October 9, 1945 the daughter of Emery E. and Helen Demitrovich Lucas.  Raised in Pittsburgh, her family enjoyed many summers and weekends at their lakefront cottage in North Springfield creating a lifetime of fond memories. 

Pam was a 1963 graduate of Peabody High School in Pittsburgh, where at age 15 she met classmate and future husband Sonny, upon first sight a lifetime of love and companionship was begun.. 

Pam was a secretary when she first started her career, but her biggest joy was raising her family and being a homemaker. She loved traveling, gardening, reading, and bowling. 

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter Kathryn V. Baumer. 

She is survived by her husband, Harold “Sonny” Grupp; a daughter, Kimberly V. Ritter and her husband John of Bethlehem, PA; a son, Kevin V. Grupp and wife Lisa of Jacksonville, FL; two brothers, Craig Lucas and wife Lori of Sussex, NJ; Richard Lucas and wife Bonnie of Niantic, CT; four grandchildren: Joseph Dans of Easton, PA; Kevin Dans of Bethlehem, PA; Nicole and Alyssa Grupp, both of Jacksonville, FL; one great granddaughter Emma Dans; and several nieces and nephews. 

Services were held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. East. Girard.
