Offel Jordan, Sr., age 62, of Erie, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2017 at UPMC Hamot. He was born in Gibson County, TN on March 25, 1955, a son of the late Charles and Zadie Bailey Jordan.
Offel graduated from Rutherford High School and a longtime member of the Victory Christian Center. He was an avid sports fan and had a deep love for his family.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Felicia Jordan.
Offel is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Jacqueline Ward Jordan. He is further survived by his children; Demarco, Lakevis, Lakemia, Ruby (Berry), Olivia and Offel Jordan, as well as ten grandchildren; further surviving are his brothers Leonard Jordan, Erick and Derick Jordan-Lofton, and Charles Jordan, and his sisters Sandra, Phyllis, BB and Charlene Jordan, Candashia Reese, all of Erie and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends may call on the family at Victory Christian Center on Saturday, July 1st at 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., with Bishop Dwane Brock, officiating. Burial will follow in Erie Cemetery. Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 602 West 10th St., Erie.
