Robert Teliski

Robert John Teliski, age 78, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at his residence.

He was born in Erie, February 18, 1943 to the late John and Anna Leone Teliski.

A 1961 graduate of Tech Memorial High School, Robert went on to serve as an Electronics Technological Communications Petty Officer in the United States Navy. Following his service to our country, he returned to Erie as a member of the work force at Erie Technological Products for 17 years. Robert later helped prepare students for the professional workforce as a 16-year member of the Gannon University Electrical and Computer Engineering Department before retiring in 2009.

Robert enjoyed spending time in his garage fixing everything and anything. Among his hobbies was creating life-long memories and documenting them with hours of videos on CD, as well as playing cards. He cherished his children and grandchildren; and loved nothing more in his life than his wife Margaret.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Ann Teliski, Christina Teliski and her fiancé, Rick Knost and Daniel Teliski and his wife Tianna all of Erie; nine grandchildren, Michael, Zachary, Nicholas, Victoria, Brianna, Matthew, Carly, Kady and Joshua; and a sister-in-law, Debbie Manczka of Erie. He is further survived by his nieces and nephews Ken Teliski, Kim Teliski, and Joseph Kotyuk (Rachael), and a sister, Cecilia Edwards (Ron).

In addition to his parents and brothers Frank and Mark, Robert is preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Margaret.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26th Street on Thursday, December 30, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home Friday, December 31, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. Burial to follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
