Lawrence Orr

Lawrence M. Orr age 71, of Erie passed away January 25, 2022 at his residence.

He was born in Erie on August 19, 1950 a son of the late Lawrence “Zeb” Orr and Dawn Westcott Orr Findlay.

Larry was a 1968 graduate Northwestern High School and received a culinary arts degree in New Haven Connecticut.

He worked as a culinary chef for several local restaurants for many years.  He was a member of the Lake Erie Masonic Lodge, #347 F.&A.M. He enjoyed pencil drawing and was a bit of an artist and shared his art with others.  He attended the Cathedral of St Paul in Erie.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his nephew Friday Orr.

He is survived a sister, Sheryl Orr of Girard; four brother, Scott Orr of Venango; Michael Orr and his wife Debbie of Cranesville; Chris Findlay of Philadelphia; and Sean Findlay and his wife Germane of NC; and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements entrusted to the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St. Girard. A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Burial in the Conneaut, OH Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 W. 8^th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
