Kowalski Frank

Frank R. Kowalski, 88, passed away Monday, March 4, 2019 at Millcreek Community Hospital.

He was born on May 7, 1930 in Erie, a son of the late Frank and Clara Vogel Kowalski.

Frank graduated from Academy High School in 1948, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Korea.

He worked for Brinks Security Services, and retired from the EMTA.

Frank was a member of the Moose Club in Erie, and United Commercial Travelers of America.

He loved bowling, and he also wrote a book called “The Golden Fox”.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Albert Kowalski.

Frank is survived by his wife of 68 years, Violet Eller Kowalski, a daughter Haiyan Snyder (David), and sisters Betty McCorkle of Denver, CO and Clara Schultz of Miami, FL.

Arrangements are entrusted to Burton Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 602 West 10th Street.
