Norma Hutchinson

Norma I. Hewitt Hutchinson, 89, of Erie, passed away peacefully at Forestview Skilled Nursing Center on December 2, 2015.

She was born in Erie on May 25, 1926 daughter of the late Roland and Irene Halmer Weissert.

She was a graduate of St. Joseph’s School and Academy High School.

She was a Homemaker, and previously worked as a secretary at Ruberoid Company and Zurn Industries.

She was a member of St. Julia’s Roman Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her first husband Ross Hewitt, her second husband Charles Hutchinson, a son, David Hewitt, and three sisters: Claire Dailey, Jean Blake, and Gretchen Keating; and a daughter Kathy Wolf.

She is survived by a son, James Hewitt and his wife Susan, three grandchildren, Kelly Hewitt, Megan and Mike Wolf all of Erie.

Services were held at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 W. 26th Street, Erie, PA 16506.
