Norma Gehrig

July 9, 1942 — November 7, 2017

Norma Gross Gehrig succumbed to cancer at her home in Sun Lakes, AZ on November 7, 2017 after a 2-year battle.  She was born on July 9, 1942, in Erie, PA to Peter and Margaret Dropsho Gross. She graduated from Wattsburg High School in 1960. 

Norma is survived by her husband, Lee Gehrig and her four children Susan Loop Moore and her husband Steve of Angola, IN; Greg Loop and his wife Teresa of Pilot Hill, CA; Leanne Loop Richardson and her husband Larry of Conroe, TX; and Kristen Loop Edge of Houston, TX.  She was step-mother to Andy, Ricky, Bonnie and Tiffany.

Norma was also the proud grandmother to Matthew Moore, Caitlin Moore, Declan Loop, Teagan Loop, Maren Loop, Danielle Richardson, Sabrina Richardson and Grace Edge and great grandchildren, Riley & Mathias Moore.

She is also survived by her brothers William Gross, Richard Gross and Ken Gross; sisters Lorraine Bucklin and Kathy Gross, and aunts, nieces and nephews.

Norma was an avid bridge player and earned her rank as a Life Silver Master. She enjoyed card making with her friends as well as many other crafts, and spoiling Mickey & Minnie her two White Maltese doggies.
