Norma Fairgraves

Norma Jean Fairgraves, age 82, of Erie, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016 at Independence Court.

She was born on July 1, 1934, in Springboro, daughter of the late Harold and Evalene (Terrill) Hotchkiss.

She was a 1954 graduate of Springboro High School, where she was Valedictorian. She attended Erie Commercial Secretarial School. Norma worked for Erie Bearings and retired after 43 years of service. She was a member of the Symphonic Singers of Erie.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Norma is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, William Fairgraves; a sister Ruth Bohn of Newport News, VA; two nephews, William Bohn and his wife Annie of, VA and Randolph Bohn of Barhanville, VA; and a niece Susan Baird and her husband, Michael of Centerberg, OH.

Friends may call at the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th St. (at Powell Avenue) on Wednesday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm, and are invited to attend a service there on Thursday at 10:00 a.m.

Entombment will follow in Erie Cemetery Mausoleum.
