Norbert Bernard Krasinski, age 93, of Erie died peacefully on Wednesday, February 20th at the Erie Soldiers and Sailors Home, where he had received loving care for the last two years. Although he had many physical challenges during that time, he maintained his spirit right up to his final moments.

Norb enjoyed his children, grandchildren, building remote controlled airplanes, and the thousands of people he met as owner of Norb’s Bar at 25th and Peach from 1980 to 2008. He truly loved spending time with his patrons, showcasing his unique dancing style, and offering sage advice to the countless local and touring musicians who played there.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Virginia Andolina Krasinski, two sisters and a brother.
He is survived by his children William Krasinski and his wife Patricia of Ashtabula, Ohio; Kathleen Conover and Paul Javon, Anthony Krasinski and his wife Amy, and David Krasinski and his wife Holly, all of Erie.
