Nora Eid

Nora G. Eid, age 28, of Philadelphia, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2014 at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

She was born in Knoxville, TN August 11, 1986, daughter of Ghaleb and Janet Anderson Eid. She graduated from Northeast High School in Philadelphia.

Nora was a child of the universe. She enjoyed people, music and dancing. She had a wonderful sense of humor, was very funny and above all else, loved her family.

Along with her parents she is survived by three brothers; Aymon, Bassam and Yusef, all of Philadelphia: a grandmother Fatima of Amman, Jordan; aunts Carol Patsy, Phyllis Powell and Kristina Anderson and their families, all of Erie; several cousins; and Uncle Khaled and Aunt Nora and six cousins in Jordan.

Friends and family may call at Burton Westlake Funeral Home, 3801 West 26th Street (at Powell Ave.) today, Sunday October 12 from 2:00 until the time of the service there at 4:00 pm. Burial will be Monday at 1:00 pm in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
