Nina Wysocki

Nina Wysocki, of Erie, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022 at Independence Court.

She was born on February 28, 1938, the daughter of the late Afanacy Gorelikow and Aksenia Kuvshinikov.

Nina was a 1955 graduate of McDowell High School.  She was a member of the Legion #773 and Moose Lodge #066.  Nina worked 20 years for Hammermill, Carlisle and Johnson Control, from where she retired in 2003.

Nina is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Wysocki, Sr. and sons, Mark P. Wysocki and Raymond Wysocki, Jr.

Nina is survived by her 3 sisters, Anna Wowk, Tammy (Jim) Senger, both of Erie and Val (Vic) Bolotin of Canada; 2 brothers, Michael Gorelikow of Erie and Alex (Sue) Gorelikow, of Florida; daughter-in-law, Carol Wysocki; step- grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to say thank you to the staff at AHN St. Vincent Oncology Center for the excellent care and support they gave to Nina.

Friends may call at the Burton Quinn Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge, 3801 W. 26^th Street, on Sunday, from 3:00 p.m to 6:00 p.m. and are invited to a service there on Monday at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Al Detter as celebrant.

Burial will be in Laurel Hill Cemetery next to her husband, Raymond.

Memorials may be made to the Erie City Mission, St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to a charity of one’s choice.
