Niko Nelson

     Niko Carter Nelson, precious baby boy of Britney Ann Moorey and Michael E. Nelson, Jr. was born into the arms of angels on Sunday, July 23, 2017.  In addition to his parents of Millcreek, he is loved and mourned by his three brothers, Willie Kirksey, KeAndre Robinson and Jaiden Kai Rodriguez; his maternal grandparents, Sherri Litz of Millcreek, Kim Simon of Erie and Peter H. Moorey, Sr. of Butler, Pa.; his paternal grandparents, Dilene and Ralph Maloney of Erie and Michael E. Nelson, Sr. of Auburn, Indiana; his maternal great-grandparents, Ernie "Butch" and Gwen Winter of Pleasantville, Pa.; his paternal great-grandparents, Nancy Sicari and Joseph and Pat Kaliszewski, all of Erie, and Keith and Susan Nelson of Auburn, Indiana. He is furthered survived by many, many aunts, uncles and cousins.
     Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Section 8, on Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 11 a.m.  The Rev. Darrell Cook of Christ Community Church will officiate.  Memorials may be designated to the family in care of the Scott Funeral Home, 2104 Myrtle Street, Erie, PA  16502.
