Nicole Fitzgerald

Nicole Fitzgerald, age 28, of Erie, passed away Monday July 1, 2013 at UPMC Shadyside after complications from Leukemia.

She was born in Erie, PA on January 20, 1985 daughter of Darcy Eliason, Ron (Kay) Wilkson and Pat (Michele) Fitzgerald.

Nicole was a great mother who loved spending time with her children. She enjoyed playing softball. Her biggest wish in life was to become a great mother.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Evelyn Wilkson, maternal grandfather Richard E. Eliason, and paternal grandmother Catherine Naculich Fitzgerald and her brother Christopher Alan Fitzgerald.

Nicole will be greatly missed by Ivan Mendez, whom she loved very much, her children Azaira Fitzgerald and Christopher Jefferson, along with her paternal grandfather Don Wilkson, maternal grandmother Charlotte Webb McIntosh. She is further survived by her brothers Donald and Shaun Wilkson, her sisters Cassie Sproul and Evelyn Prince, and a Step-Sister Nicole Marie Weisenbach. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home, 602 West 10th Street, on Friday from 2 – 4 pm and 5 – 7 pm with a service to follow at 7 pm with Rev. Greg Buzzanco of the Triumphant Life Church officiating.
