Nicholas A. Lupo, age 78, of Erie died Monday, May 21, 2018 at Walnut Creek Healthcare & Rehab Center. He was born June 8, 1939 in Erie the son of the late Nicholas and Catherine Leone Lupo.
A lifelong resident of Erie, Nick enjoyed the outdoors, was a fan of NASCAR, and loved country music having made a yearly trip to Nashville for their Jamboree. He also enjoyed classic movies and especially loved the times spent with friends and family.
Nick is survived by his sister, Angeline M. Lupo of Erie; an uncle Robert Weigel of Erie; several cousins, and his lifelong friend, Robert Fischer.
Nick’s family would like to thank the staff at Walnut Creek Healthcare and Rehab for the wonderful care provided to him during his stay there.
Friends are invited to call at St. Paul’s RC Church, 1617 Walnut St., on Friday from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at which time a Funeral Mass will be celebrated. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Arrangements by the Quinn Funeral Home, West 9th & Liberty St.
