Nicholas Dirienzo

Nicholas DiRienzo, age 78, of Millcreek, passed away on Sunday, January 18, 2015.

He was born in Erie, PA on February 20, 1936 a son of the late Dominick and Sue Vendetti DiRienzo.

Nicholas attended Millcreek High School before serving in the United States Marine Corp. After serving he was self - employed as a cement contractor.

Nicholas was a loving father, he enjoyed animals and wildlife and played the stock market every morning.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years Irene (Niemic); his six children Debra (Mark) Shoemaker; Lynn (Robert) Wickles; Michael DiRienzo; Kristy (Butch) Smith; Tony (Dawn) DiRienzo; and Michelle (David)Evans.

Sixteen Grandchildren, Twenty-two great grandchildren, two brothers and one sister further survive.

Arrangements were private at the convenience of the family and entrusted to Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street Erie, PA 16506.
