Neil Woods

Neil J. Woods, age 69, of Erie passed away Saturday, December 5, 2020 at UPMC Hamot. He was born September 27, 1951 in Erie the son of the late John and Eleanor (Podurgiel) Woods.

A lifelong resident of Erie, Neil started his own business, Contractors Service and Supply, in 1983 and served as its owner for many years. He was also a member of the former Erie Maennerchor club and enjoyed Duck Pin bowling there.

Besides his parents, Neil was preceded in death by his former wife and the mother of his children, Sylvia Grabinski Woods.

Neil is survived by his two children, Amanda Woods and Michael Woods (Denise); two grandsons, Eyan and Alexander, and sisters; Kathy Rekitt of Erie and Debbie Habjanetz (Joe) of Texas.

Due to Covid 19, there will be no visitation and burial will be private in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 E.10^th St., Erie, PA 16511 or to the Erie City Mission, PO Box 407, Erie, PA 16512.
