Neil Schmalenbach

Neil Schmalenbach, age 84, of Millcreek, passed away Sunday April 16, 2017.

Neil was born in Erie on October 20, 1932, son of the late Herbert and Alma Stalghren
Schmalenbach.

He was a graduate of Academy High School, Class of 1951, served in the U. S. Navy and worked as a tester at American Sterilizer for 31 years until his retirement in 1994.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Mary Lou Schmalenbach.

He is survived a daughter Sharon Schmalenbach, a granddaughter Melissa Schmalenbach, and great-granddaughter Kelli Schmalenbach all of Erie; a brother Herbert Schmalenbach of Nevada, and three nephews, Herbert, Jr., Robert and Joseph Schmalenbach.

Arrangements are private and entrusted to the Burton Westlake Funeral Home 3801 West 26th Street Erie PA 16506.
