Nataline M. “Tillie” Masolotte passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA after a brief illness.
Born June 27, 1915 in Norwich, PA, she was the daughter of Massimo and Marea (Garbi) Mosolotti.
Upon her graduation from high school in 1932, Tillie worked as a secretary. At the outbreak of WWII, she then worked for the National Munitions Co., Eldred, PA, and rationing board. Before the end of the war she became Court Clerk/Judge’s secretary for the 55th judicial district in Coudersport, PA, serving 3 sitting judges until her retirement in 1979.
Tillie was a long standing member of the Court Doyle #93 Catholic Daughters Coudersport office girls and many other organizations.
She was a loving aunt and vibrant 102 year old.
She was predeceased in death by her parents, sisters, and brothers, Angeline (John) Pockey, Lena (Joseph) Masolotte, Rose (William) Kenealy, James (Susan) Masolotte, Joseph (Helen) Masolotte, along with many nieces, nephews and cousins, including the love of her life, Robert Dorr.
A memorial mass will be celebrated at St. Eulalia’s Catholic Church at a date and time to be announced.
Donations may be made in her memory to the charity of one’s choice. Arrangements by the Quinn Funeral Home, Erie, PA.
