Nancy Weisenbach

Erie - Nancy E. Weisenbach, 82, of Erie, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 27, 2017 at Forestview Skilled Nursing Center after an extended illness.  She was born on January 22, 1935 in Erie, Pennsylvania a daughter of Michael J. Ring and Lillian S. Johnson Ring.  She married Thomas J. Weisenbach, Sr., he survives.

 

Nancy was a 1952 graduate of East High School and was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.

 

Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren Kyle and Kayla. Nancy was an avid reader who volunteered her time reading to children at her grandchildren’s elementary school. Nancy had a kind and generous heart which made her a natural caretaker for family and friends throughout her life. 

 

In addition to her loving husband, Thomas of 61 years; she is survived by a son, Thomas J. Weisenbach, Jr. and his wife Nadine of Friendswood, Texas; a grandson, Kyle Weisenbach of Dallas, Texas; a granddaughter, Kayla Weisenbach of West Chester, Pennsylvania; two sisters, Carol Lauderbaugh and Ina Ring both of Erie; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Robert Ring.

 

Funeral services will be private.
