Nancy McLaughlin Stadler, age 85, of Girard, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2018 at Edinboro Manor.
She was born in Cleveland, OH on October 17, 1932. Nancy was a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School, and worked for many years at Penn Union, starting in 1974, until her retirement at the age of 65.
She was a lover of her dogs, and raised, bred, and showed Pekingese dogs. She had several AKC Champions over her life time. Nancy was a member of the Erie Kennel Club and AKC. She was a loving mother to all her children and pets.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond “Farmer” Stadler and two sons, John and Steven McLaughlin.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Lorrie Kalicky and her husband, John of Albion; two sons, Gregory McLaughlin and his wife, Karen of Edinboro and Mike McLaughlin and his husband, Dan of Columbus, OH and a daughter-in-law, Audrey McLaughlin of Erie; a brother, Kenny Leland of OH; six grandchildren; step children, Thomas Stadler and his wife, Cookie of Albion, Richard Stadler of Erie, Rosemary and Norma Stadler and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at the Burton Funeral Home, 525 Main St., Girard, on Sunday from 1 pm until the time of sharing at 5 pm. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery at a later date.
