Nancy Scott

Nancy Jean Rosenthal Scott, age 59, died on Sunday, January 8, 2017, at her home in Erie.  She was born on November 21, 1957, in Erie, daughter of the late Robert "Jerry" and Jean Beatty Rosenthal.

A 1975 graduate of Strong Vincent High School, Nancy worked at the Erie County Court House in Domestic Relations for 34 years.  She was a member of Elmwood United Presbyterian Church and enjoyed gardening.

Nancy was everyone's friend and was known to go far out of her way to help anyone that she could.  She loved fashion, and was pretty and sassy, and not shy to speak her mind.

Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Lawrence G. Scott; a son, Geoffrey G. Scott of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a daughter, Lauren Nicole Scott of Pittsburgh, Pa.; an aunt, Marion R. Beatty of Erie; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. H. Edward Littell of Gibsonia, Pa., a cousin, Barbara Garner of Erie; many, many, many friends including her lifelong friend, Mary Rentz of Erie; and the canine love of her life, Roxy.

A special celebration of Nancy's life will be announced on a future date.
