Nancy Lee Liebau

Nancy Lee Liebau, age 69, of Erie, passed away peacefully May, 2nd 2023 at her residence, her
happy place, surrounded by her family.

She was born February 24, 1954 in Erie, PA, a daughter of the late Bernard and Dolores
(Johnson) Lyons.

Nancy graduated from McDowell High School, class of 1972.

She was a dedicated employee as a Regional Office Manager with RE/MAX Real Estate for
many years. Nancy was an avid Steelers fan, loved to be with her family, had a generous
heart, and never missed a chance to sing Happy Birthday on your special day. She loved to
dance, especially to the Motown hits.

Along with her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Howard
Liebau, and a sister in law, Julie Liebau.

She is survived by three daughters; Shelli Minnaugh (Martin) of VA; Heather Valencic (Tim), of
VA; Trisha Sullivan (Ryan) of Erie. She is further survived by a sister, Becky Wilson;
Grandchildren, Molly Blunier (Jacob), Lily Minnaugh, Tyler Liebau-Hurta, Mackenzie Valencic,
and Stanley Minnaugh. She also leaves nieces and nephews Kristi Myers (Greg); Robert Liebau,
Jason Zymlinski, Melanie and Ben Griffith as well as her great nieces and nephews; Ryan,
Grayson, Lauren, and Anderson.

The family would like to thank Davita Dialysis Bayfront for their wonderful love, support, and
care over the years. They would also like to thank her tremendous health care team.
Friends are invited to call at Burton Quinn-Scott Cremation and Funeral Services, West Ridge,
3801 West 26th Street, on Friday, May 5th, 2023 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm and are invited to
attend the Funeral Service there on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:30 am.
