Nancy Jillard

Nancy L. Jillard, age 74, of Erie, passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016 at UPMC Hamot.

She was born in Erie on October 12th, 1942 to the late Fred Travers and Mary Bayer Travers.

Nancy graduated from Villa Maria Academy in 1960 and went on to work in food service at Brown Derby and Luigi’s as a waitress for many years.

Nancy had a variety of hobbies and interests including traveling to the National parks, camping, and throwing darts. She also loved to watch tennis and golf, especially Tiger Woods.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Fred Travers and Mary Bayer Travers; two brothers, Fred and Phillip Travers; and one brother-in-law, Henry Norland.

Nancy is survived by two sons, David Jillard, of New Haven, CT and Michael Jillard, of Erie; one sister, Patricia Norland, of Erie; one brother, David Travers, of Philadelphia, PA; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Friends may call at Burton Funeral Home 602 West 10th Street on Friday from 5:00 pm till the time of a memorial service there at 7:00 pm.
