Nancy Hammann

Nancy Irene Hammann, age 85, of Erie, passed away Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at UPMC Hamot.

Born in Erie, on June 4, 1929, the daughter of the late Harry and Marion Grace Gillis.

Throughout her career, Nancy worked in retail sales and was employed with W.T. Grant, Carlisle’s and Kaufmann’s. Nancy also loved dogs.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard L .Hammann and her daughter, Michele A. Hammann.

Nancy is survived by her daughter, Denise Hammann of Erie; son, Kenneth Hammann of Spokane, WA; grandchildren, Laura Gooley and Nicole Hammann, both of Erie; great-grandchildren, Alicia Ester and Talaya Brown, both of Erie.
