Nancy Gronnett

Nancy J. Gronnett, age 95 of Erie, passed away on May 25, 2022 at Elmwood Gardens.

She was born on December 16, 1926, a daughter of the late Hilda Brandt and John Bruce Gronnett, Sr.

Nancy was a 1945 graduate of Academy High School and she worked as an administrative assistant for Lord Corporation for 31 years, retiring in 1991. She was previously a secretary at Erie Resistor Corp. for 12 years. She was a member of Simpson United Methodist Church, Gridley Chapter #324 Order of Eastern Star, St. Vincent Health Center Auxiliary, The Women’s Club of Erie and Quarter Century Club of Lord Corp. She was also the secretary/treasurer for Service Corp. of Retired Executives.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, John B. Gronnett, Jr. and a sister, Virginia Painter Snook.

She is survived by nieces, Connie Jean Bultman of Marietta, GA, and Deborah L. Lopez (David) of La Puente, CA and nephew, John B. Gronnett, III (Brenda) of Cincinnati, OH. She is further survived by grandnephews, grandnieces, great-grandnephews, great-grandnieces and dear friend and care-giver, Carmie Moore.

Friends are invited to attend a graveside service at Laurel Hill Cemetery, Section 11 on June 13^th at 2 P.M.
