Nancy Fraley

Nancy Fraley, age 81, of Erie, passed away Friday, June 29, 2018 at Fairview Manor.

She was born in Erie on September 12, 1936, a daughter of the late Maurice Litchtinger and Evelyn Fox Lichtinger Krainski.

Nancy was a cleaner extraordinaire and had cleaned for several businesses and churches throughout Erie over the years.  She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church. Nancy was a devoted catholic - complete with guilt.  She enjoyed cleaning, gardening,  bingo and going out to eat with her family; but her biggest joy was spending time with her family and grandchildren.  Nancy had the strength of a warrior and persevered throughout life’s challenges.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert “Raymond” Fraley; two brothers, Frank and Jack; five sisters, Betty Lou, Dorothy, Delores, Carol and Elaine.

She is survived by three sons, Michael Fraley and his wife Kathy Noble Fraley of Erie, Thomas Patrick Fraley and his wife Denise of Buffalo, and Dave Fraley and his wife Tina  of Erie; three daughters, Wendy Fraley, Sheila Hayes and her husband, Scott and Betty “Jo Jo” Amatangelo and her husband, Tony, all of Erie; a sister, Pauline Blackman;  12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, a dedicated niece, Doris and other nieces and nephews further survive.

Friends may call on Saturday July 7th at Blessed Sacrament Church, 1626 W.26th St. Erie, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a memorials service at 11:00 a.m. followed by burial at Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
